Hello Dear Readers!
Part of the joy of being self-employed is that I can make time to volunteer and support organizations that are important to me. One thing I do is serve on the Board of Directors for Next Stage theater company. We are a small, fairly new theater company in the Denver area. Our mission is to engage audiences by introducing quality new works and reviving unfamiliar and thought-provoking live theater. You can learn more about Next Stage by visiting our Web site.
On September 27, 2008 we will be holding our wildly popular annual fundraiser, Miscast, in which some of Denver's finest actors perform songs and scenes from roles in which they would never be cast.
Winner of a Denver Post Ovation Award for Best Special Event and recognized by local critic David Marlowe as one of the best theater events Denver has to offer! And this year...we will be offering our audience the opportunity to vote on their favorite act each night!
